I am Allan Hardman, author of The

combined here the wisdom of the ancient masters with modern models of
Jungian archetypes, the Inner Child, Alchemical Hypnotherapy,
Metaphysics, and New Thought to create this powerful community we call

The Toltecs of Ancient
Mexico
The Toltec were not a race or
culture like the Aztecs or Mayans who came later, but were a society of
artists and spiritual seekers who came together more than two thousand
years ago to establish cities and build Teotihuacán, a pyramid complex
north of Mexico City we know as "the place where humans awaken and
remember their divinity." For many centuries, these people explored
their external and internal universes, and
accumultated deep wisdom about the nature of the human mind and how it
dreams "reality."
The name “Toltec” was
given to the builders of Teotihuacán by the Aztecs, who settled in the
area centuries after the Teotihuacanos had left and abandoned the
pyramids. The name means “artist” in the ancient language, and we
embellish it a bit to call all of us who benefit from this healing
wisdom, “Artists of Life,”or "Artist of the Spirit."
At TACO we are creating spiritual community through love in action
We are a community of
people who have come together to explore a new and better way of life,
based on love, acceptance, personal responsibility, and respect.

The online teaching material
presents the three masteries of the Toltec path— Awareness,
Transformation, and Intent. I encourage you to use my book, The
Everything Toltec Wisdom Book, and The Four
Agreements by my teacher, don Miguel Ruiz, as the companion
guides to your study here.

TACO Mentors are available to witness and assist you on your journey.

Members look forward to
gathering in person at our Summer Celebration of Life in Northern
California each year, on Journeys of the Spirit to Teotihuacán, the
Toltec pyramid complex outside of Mexico City, and our learning center
at the beach in Chacala, Mexico. Many wonderful personal relationships
have begun in TACO and at these reunions.
I strongly urge members
to take their time, and continue studying each Gateway for at
least a month or more. Changing your life by changing your
mind takes time, and I want you to never have to go back and start
over. Give yourself the gift of thorough and dedicated study along with
active participation in the community—and reclaim the life you
were meant to live.

The Toltec Path to
Personal Freedom
Personal freedom is freedom from
judgment, fear, and suffering. It is the freedom to take charge of your
own emotional body -- to no longer be a puppet of other people's
expectations, emotional reactions, or behavior. The goal of the Toltec
path is happiness and the celebration of Life. We believe that even
though pain is part of the human condition, suffering as a victim is
optional.
This is a "Path of
Action." It is a way of life that ultimately opens our hearts
directly to Spirit, to Life itself. It is not a religion. There are no
rules, no dogma, and no right or wrong way to be a “Toltec” . . . in
fact, you don't even have to think of yourself as a Toltec to do this
work. This path is compatible with the time-honored wisdom of masters
and spiritual paths from all cultures and philosophies, and embraces
beliefs found in Buddhism, Christianity, Science of Mind, Unity, and
others.
The Toltecs teach us that Light is
the messenger of creation. As humans, we have receptors for that light,
and use it to create a virtual reality in our minds we call "real" --
the Toltecs know it as our "Dream." We are all "dreaming" a personal
dream created as we distort and filter the Light through the limiting
beliefs, opinions, judgments, and old agreements from our domestication
as children. These distortions rarely serve our highest good as adults.
This path to freedom is
the process of using your awareness to discover how you are distorting
the Light of creation, deciding if it serves you, and changing it if it
does not. Simple, yes? Easy? Not necessarily. I will say to you what
don Miguel Ruiz said to me many years ago: "If I can do it, you
can do it."
